Taha Akhtar, DMD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a Prosthodontist at The Dental Center of Manchester in New Hampshire and WFHC in Worcester, MA. He is the co-founder and current President of the International Society of Education and serves as Deputy Supreme of the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Akhtar earned his DMD from Tufts University before pursuing a master’s degree in Germany. He then completed a postdoctoral residency in Prosthodontics in Boston. Beyond clinical practice, he has a strong passion for research and education. In recognition of his teaching excellence, he was honored with the Dean's Excellence Award in Clinical Teaching in 2024.
