Sandra D’Amato-Palumbo
RDH, MPS, EdD

Sandra D’Amato-Palumbo, RDH, BS, MPS, EdD, is a tenured professor at the University of New Haven since 1997, is a dedicated educator and scholar in the undergraduate dental hygiene program, where she teaches General and Oral Pathology, Internship, Senior Project, and clinical courses. She also leads the doctoral-level Evidence-Based Leadership course in the School of Health Sciences. Internationally, she directs the UNH Dental Hygiene Study Abroad Program in Prato, Italy. A published author in leading dental, dental hygiene, and health leadership journals and textbooks, Dr. Palumbo also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Dental Education. Her scholarly and teaching efforts reflect her commitment to advancing dental hygiene education, fostering evidence-based practice, and promoting professional excellence locally and globally.
