Richard Huot, DDS, is the founder of Beachside Dental Consultants, Inc., and started his consulting firm in 2004. Rick is also the Chief Business Development Officer for Velmeni, an AI assisted diagnostic software for dental practices. As dental subject matter expert for the Leidos Health group in 2015, he worked on the MHS Genesis Electronic Health Record, which is the integrated EHR for DoD and the VA. As a Key Opinion Leader, he has lectured at many meetings on topics such as leadership issues, career transitioning, financial planning, and buying/selling dental practices. His articles have been featured in Becker’s Dental Review, Dental Products Report, Dental Economics, Dentistry Today, Dental Practice Report, ADA News, AGD Impact, and other state dental journals.
