Michael Dutko, MA, LPC, LADC, has more than two decades of experience providing clinical care, training, and consultation. He currently serves as Behavioral Health Specialist with the Connecticut National Guard, where since 2012 he has conducted evaluations, psycho-diagnostic assessments, and delivered evidence-based psychotherapy. He also develops and facilitates workshops, presentations, and curriculum-based training for service members, leadership, and external partners. Since 2013, he has also served as a Clinical Consultant for the Wounded Warrior Project, assisting veterans in building resilience and connection through experiential and outdoor activities that promote healing. His professional expertise centers on trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, and integrated behavioral health approaches, making him uniquely equipped to guide participants in applying person-centered, evidence-based interventions to address the intersection of substance use and suicide risk.
