Dennis Flanagan

Dennis Flanagan, DDS, MSc, is a diplomate of both the American Board of General Dentistry and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He has served as an Attending Dentist for the U.S. Olympic Committee and previously held the same role at Windham Community Memorial Hospital. Dr. Flanagan has published more than 170 articles in the field of dentistry and is an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, as well as a Diplomate and Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration. He is a recipient of the Lew Research Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He serves as an examining board member for the American Board of General Dentistry, the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In addition, he is the Senior Associate Editor for the Journal of Oral Implantology and the editor of the quarterly AAID News. Dr. Flanagan earned his MSc from Goethe Medical University in Frankfurt, Germany, and is a tenured associate professor at Lugano University of Switzerland in Malta. Over the course of his career, he has surgically placed and restored more than 15,000 dental implants.
