Christine O’Hea, DMD, MDS has over twenty years of experience with clear aligners in both private practice and academic orthodontics. She received a B.S. in chemistry with Honors from Lafayette College in 1992. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a DMD in 1996 and then received both a master of dental science degree and certificate in orthodontics from the University of Connecticut in 1999. Dr. O’Hea maintained private practices in New Jersey from 1999–2019 while serving as part-time clinical assistant professor at Columbia University from 2014-2018. She presently is a full-time assistant professor at Columbia University. Recognizing the driving interest in clear aligners by general dentist practitioners, she developed an innovative clear aligner therapy protocol for undergraduate dental students.
